2010 fancy green smoothie DSCN2288When making green smoothies and storing left-overs, it’s best to choose a bottle which your liquid will fill. This reduces oxidization due to too much air affecting the quality of the smoothie.

Here is a sample recipe: 

Kiwi and Avocado Green Smoothie

Serves 2 easily
Toss in a high speed blender:
2 cups of water
2 Kiwi Fruits
1/4 cup of banana
1 mango
3 cups of kale
1 avocado

Blend well

Avocado makes smoothies super creamy like a thick milk shake. You can also add half of the avocado pit to a smoothie as it is one of the highest forms of  insoluble fiber. When using fresh fruit, add ice.
